Position:
TAP Head Teacher
Job description
- Overall responsibility for running the English classes portion of the Teenage Adventure Program
- Manages all teachers of the TAP
- Trains teachers before and when necessary during TAP on matters related to the TAP teaching process
- Makes sure a class list with student names is always updated
- Ensures certificates are ready for students who graduate
- Works with the TAP Manager to ensure that all classrooms are ready, opened and operational before the start of the class
- Keeps teachers informed about updates and gets updates from them through daily meetings
- Ensures teaching material and stationary is available for teachers and the teaching hours
Qualifications
- University degree
- Recognized certificate in TESL Canada or equivalent
- At least 2 years of ESL teaching experience
- Management experience in the ESL industry
- Energetic, creative, patient and positive
