Summer ESL Program
International House Sol Group offers summer programs in Toronto and Calgary for 2010. The Toronto program will run at two locations: the York University Glendon Campus and the Humber College campus. Both campuses have been chosen to give international students a true Canadian experience.
Toronto Program
The program in Toronto is residential and includes the following:
- Residential accommodation
- Shared or private rooms
- Three full meals per day
- 20 hours of language training per week
- Tours of the city and all major attractions
- Daily sports activities on and off campus
- 24-hour on-site IH staff and counselors
- 24-hour campus security for residential programs

Facilities and Accommodations
With over 10 years of experience offering junior programs, we offer one of the most exclusive and well organized junior programs in Canada for students between 12 to 17.
To cater to the needs of our summer clients, we offer the most exclusive residential program in Toronto at York University’s Glendon Campus and at Humber College.Students can choose either shared or private rooms.
Both facilities offer great accommodation facilities as well as meal plan and other amenities. Below is a list of what you can expect in the Toronto residential program.

Calgary Program
The Calgary program for 2010 is a homestay program and includes the following:
- Homestay accommodation in single or double rooms
- Three full meals per day provided by the family
- 20 hours of language training per week
- Tours of the city and all major attractions
- Daily sports activities on and off campus
- IH Staff and counselors during the program
- Airport pick-up and drop-off
- Full emergency medical insurance*
- Full-day weekend trips and excursions
Facilities and Accommodations
The summer Teenage Adventure Program for 2010 in Calgary will offer Students the opportunity to live a true Canadian experience by being part of a Canadian family. Students will stay in a homestay and will have the comfort of living at home and the benefit of improving their English skills enormously. They will have a single or double room, use of all house facilities such as; kitchen, living room, TV, garden (if applicable) etc.
You will also enjoy a taste of Canadian food and home cooking. Usually, breakfasts and dinners will be at home while lunch will be taken packed at school.
The locations of the homestays have been chosen carefully to ensure an easy commute to school. None of the families lives more than 40 minutes away from the main school campus.
Day Program
For 2010 we have introduced a day program option. This is an excellent opportunity for all those students who have relatives living in Canada and want to spend their evenings with them, but still want to join the program and experience a lot of it. The program includes all the following:
- 20 hours of language training per week
- All lunches
- Afternoon activities
- Tours of the city and all major attractions
- Daily sports activities on and off campus
- 24 hours on site IH staff and counsellors
- Full emergency medical insurance
Summer Activities
The activities have been designed to be fun and engaging for the students. They also give students the opportunity to practice their English and learn about Canadian culture.
The activities will run in the afternoon and evening after English classes, usually between 14:00 – 18:00 and from 20:00 – 22:00. During the weekends there are full day activities and they will start as early as 9:00 and continue for the rest of the day.
