Facilities and Accommodation
The Glendon campus of York University is located in one of the best and safest neighborhoods in Toronto. Convenient and easy commute to downtown it is a beautiful campus with lots of green where students can spends their evenings together.
The Hilliard Residence where our students will reside offers great amenities. The residence is divided into floors and each floor is divided into wings where boys and girls are accommodated separately. Each wing has its own shared washrooms and showers. Also each wing has a common room with TV where students can spend their free time watching TV, paying cards or simply chatting with their friends from other countries.
Each room includes the following: single bed, dresser, shelving, desk and chair. Local phone calls are for free both to make and to receive, while making international phone calls requires appropriate phone cards. Internet is accessible in the computer lab located on campus. The residence also has laundry machines as well as dryers. They are card operated and it costs $1.65per wash or dry. The cards can be reloaded at the campus library.
