The Activities Program

The activities’ program designed for this age group is aimed at getting the best out of this experience. Because this age group is particular we have build a program that will have the students as the main focus of the activity, rather than us having the activity all planned. So, apart from students participating in the different excursions and visiting exciting and world renowned attractions such as Niagara Falls, the CN tower, watching a baseball game, visiting the Royal Ontario Museum the students will also be part of projects. We have build group and individual project ideas that the students are invited together with their friends from other countries to complete. Whether that is doing research, interviewing university staff, selling ice-cream on the streets, participating in charity events or others it will be up to them to decide how to do it, who the project manager will be and other details. This will empower the student to spend the time doing it the way they want and showing their talents their way.

The great news for 2011 is that we are starting a new tradition at IH. Because we value and we want to reward the best students, the winners of these projects will have the chance to come back at our program as an apprentice and for FREE. They will have the chance not only to come back but also to be part of the IH team and help the other new students in this exciting experience.

The activities program runs everyday from Monday to Sunday after school hours.
