IH offers a variety of modern language instructions for people seeking to learn a new
language.
We offer a variety of modern language programs. Whatever your reasons are for wanting to learn a new language, be it for personal interest, career enhancement, business transactions or for travels abroad, we have a course to help you achieve your goals.
We offer both group and individual lessons and the lessons are designed and taught using the communicative approach. All language skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar) will be covered with an emphasis on oral communications and targeted language usage.
Our small classes provide a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for you to practice your conversational skills and gain confidence in utilizing a modern language.
French Language Course
French is the other official language of Canada and is also the official language used in the UN, UNESC and NATO.
Our French courses are designed to meet a variety of student needs in a city where French is taught in the school system. Whether you are a novice beginner or someone who needs a refresher course to improve your existing French language skills, our courses are designed with the flexibility to cater to each individual's needs.
Course Structure
- All language skills taught with a focus on oral communication
- Students must write a course placement test before start of studies
- IH has an eight level system with a 10 week study duration per level
- Students must pass level completion exams to advance to the next level
- Certificate of completion issued after successful completion of a level
- Available in group or one-to-one format

Spanish Language Course
Second only to English, Spanish is the most spoken language in the world. As the official language of twenty-one different countries, Spanish is spoken by more than 350 million people today. Mandarin Language Course
The Chinese Language is spoken natively by more people on earth than any other language. Out of the 13 main regional dialects of Chinese, Mandarin is the most spoken (by over 800 million people). With China’s increasing growth and importance in the global economy, speaking Mandarin is an advantage for anyone wishing to stay ahead in the their professional and business life.
