The Toronto Zoo is one of the largest zoos in the world featuring over 5,000 animals from 500 different species. There are both indoor and outdoor environments to view the animals as well as an underwater viewing area, four rides (zoomobile, conservation carousel, camels and ponies), and seven separate regions to visit including: Indo-Malaya, Africa, the Americas, Australasia, Eurasia, Canadian Domain and the Tundra Trek. The zoo is open all year round to all visitors, locals, and tourists!
